Community on Fire

Community on Fire

Romans 1:11-12 TPT I yearn to come and be face-to-face with you and get to know you. For I long to impart to you some spiritual gift that will empower you to stand strong in your faith. Now, this means that when we come together and are side by side, something wonderful will be released. We can expect to be co-encouraged and co-comforted by each other’s faith!”

Fire represents the presence and power of God

Fire represents the something that is warm and comforting

Fire represents something that brings energy and life

Fire represents a light that guides us

Culture of a Community on Fire

Romans 1:11 TPT “I yearn to come and be face-to-face with you and get to know you. For I long to impart to you some spiritual gift that will empower you to stand strong in your faith.

1. People should be empowered by our spiritual gifts

1 Corinthians 12:7 NLTThat is the kind of empowerment I am talking about ‘A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

“We are born on purpose for a purpose”

Ephesians 2:8-1 ESV “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus forgood works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

As a community of people empowered by spiritual gifts …there should never be a need we shouldn’t be able to meet

When we use what God gives us, it encourages others to use what God has given them.

2. People should be encouraged and comforted

Slides Only >Romans 1:12 TPT“ Now, this means that when we come together and are side by side, something wonderful will be released. We can expect to be co-encouraged and co-comforted by each other’s faith!”

Hebrews 10:25 GNT “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead let us encourage one another…”

Your story and your testimony has the power to change someone’s life.

“TO BE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE, WE MUST BE LOVING PEOPLE”

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 TPT Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else . Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.”
